To assuage the decade old demand of People from Punjab and Haryana to start direct train connecting Kachchh and Punjab, Vinod bhai Chavda , M.P. -Kachchh had represented to Minister of Railways.orally, in writing and with delegation also. Mr Chavda , M.P. informed that I had appealed Rail minister shri Suresh prabhu about the long pending demand of Gurudwara Shree Guru Nanak ,Lakhpat and Panjab Haryana based Radha Saomi satsang for a train connecting between Kachchh and Punjab, I had represented orally and in writting As a result Railways have issued notification to start the train between Gandhidham and Amritsar w.e.f. First April next. The train will be run once a week. People were happy.

Train will start every Monday at 5.20PM from Gandhidham and reach Amritsar on Tuesday at 9.15PM. Train will depart from Amritsar at 5.55 AM Wednesday and reach Gandhidham 9.30AM Thursday.
This train will be a boon to people loving touring to visit Golden Temple, Wagha border and other pilgrim places. Also business and empolyed people from Haryana and Punjab settled in kachchh will benefit. Also the Gurudwara of Nanak saheb in Lakhpat kachchh can be visited easiy....
