They are too short sighted to see the side effects of surge pricing. Today they are happy that the total revenue with surge fare is marginally higher than the earlier collection. So they consider surge pricing as success.

IR fail to realise that it are loosing their market share as it is historically a habitual loser and is continuously loosing pax business (from 75% to 15%) & freight business (from 90% to 25%) to roadways & airlines since independence.
