Hi,
does anyone know the Delhi Cantonement station. Was there once on my way to Jammu, but long ago. Any retiring rooms there, or a propper waiting room wehre I can rest on a blanket. Have to wait 12 h for the Delhi-jaisalmer Ex. - after an intercontinental flight, my God. Or maybe a hotel, a cheapy nearby.
THANKS

I do not know much about Cantt. station but I have often seen it when traveling by the outer ring road. It is considerably small station and not many trains stop here. It is located on the outer ring road and literally, any place in Delhi can be reached easily by buses. Others can comment more on retiring rooms, etc.

I do not know about your flight arrival time, but presume it to be in the late night/early morning in Terminal 3. I will suggest to stay put in the IGI Airport for approx. 7-8 hours and take a taxi to Delhi cantt. Station. The station is nearer to the airport. You can take a prepaid taxi in the airport itself and arrive in Delhi Cantt Station. (distance approx.10-12 kms)
I will not advise you to go to Paharganj and then come back to Delhi CAntt. which is not only a costly affair but not worth the effort.

station is in Jail Road and can be accessed from Airport via Term.1D and Cantt Road(generally all taxi walahs take this route). The station is near the Lajwanti Garden bridge and access to station is via the road underneath the bridge.
have a nice and pleasant stay in Delhi. thanks
