Remaining portion of ERS - KTYM - KYJ doubling project gets confined to one district: Kottayam. Works on the 36 km stretch from KRPP to CGV is progressing at snail's pace. Rs. 150 crore has been earmarked for this project in FY 2017 - 18. The remaining section is expected to get doubled in another 18 months; if it will actually happen is anybody's guess.
