last year during heavy rains in Andhra and Maharashtra, I found that some trains were showing " INDEFINITELY late" What does it mean??? Note that the train was not cancelled

Roshan, this is a remark commonly found in the display board at Howrah too where doing times of floods in other places, incoming trains are shown as INDEFINITELY LATE. I was told that this means there is no news as to the present whereabouts of the train. The station authorities said pucca news would be available only after the train entered the HOME DIVISION.

last year during oct tym due to heavy rains this train was kept indefinitely late.. so just wanted to know, even if i become a victim ... we have to prepare for the worst na? :D
