Increase in frequency of Yeswantpur - Howrah Duronto from weekly to four times a week.
Increase in frequency of 2245/2246 Howrah-Yesvantpur Duronto Express from weekly to 4 days.
thank god...finally another train from pune to howrah. thank god
though people who cannot afford AC tickets will not benefit.
and damn. no duronto for hwh-chennai. at least another daily express train would also have done wonders. the officials last week said that the demand is 148% of available seats on this route throughout the year.
and mumbai got 4 new durontos. thats strange,...

Yes, Mumbai has got a good share of the Durontos. Howrah has also got 3 Durontos. Maybe some more will be announced afterwards like the Howrah-Yeshwantapur Duronto which was announced towards end of last year.
the YPR-HWH train was announced in the last budget. however the railways scrapped it and introduced a duronto instead. thats what the newspapers said.
