Tatkal base fare and normal ticket base fare are different
General ticket base fare+ superfast charges+ service tax+ bank user charges
If in general basefare is 150 rupees after all add-on charges user has to pay 200 rs
In tatkal basefare itself is more than normalbase fare

If tatkal base fare for sleeper is 170
170+30(superfast)+30(service tax only for AC coaches i think)+tatkal charge 110=310
Additionally banks like SBI will charge 11.50 paise on each ticket total ticket costs you around 323 rs in tatkal where as normal ticket is around 150/-
Inaddition we are paying servicetax + cess + krishi kalyan tax+ swatch barath tax
For government lot number of taxes we are paying

Service Tax for normal ticket and tatkal charge is different??
why are they treat special if the people booked in Tatkal. Same service, same halts, same speed, same food. There is difference in tatkal charge again showing difference in service tax. Literally railways are rob erring the passengers
