There is a question in my mind.. Please let me know the answer for this...::
At any signal as soon as the loco passes it the signal automatically drops from green to red.. How does this work????

The first answer is bit difficult to explain, but those aspects usually ensure that more trains can operate in a particular distance rather than you would with only 2 aspect signal; 4 aspect gives an even finer level of control by permitting multiple speeds (max, 80 and 45 Kmph)
they do, especially if this thing happens during peak hours. see this video by Rahul Srinivas (The RailTechie) where you can see two main line trains on the same section. have also seen this in delhi when i traveled in Yuva SF
