Till now Railways used to deny this service citing non availability of rakes. This time they got a MS - ERS Special with weekend lay over @ ERS. Let them atleast operate a service via PGTN - POY - PLNI - MDU from ERS. No regular services have been launched on this route despite GC getting over almost a year back. Most probably they're waiting for PTJ - PLNI line to get completed!

PTJ-PLNI has no impact on this route right. Also these should be a train from Kanyakumari to Manglore via this route.
