SWR recently reduced CC of all trains in Braganza Ghats to 20 . So I don't think they will allow 24 coach trains here.
OK. The limit might be 20 CC but 18047/18048 AMARAVATHI EXP runs with 22 coaches ( 18 + 4 coaches of KCG VSG SLIP). The trains 17021/17022 & 17419/17420 could be run 12 & 10 coaches making it 22 coaches. Firstly the train is to be speeded up in the both up & down services & made a tri - weekly. Then it will become popular in the long run say 5-6 months & will run with good occupancy ratio.
Amaravati also runs with 20 coaches only these days as 2 coaches are delinked at GTL for 18047 coming from HWH. so its 16 + 4 = 20 Coaches only.
Amaravati express comes with 17 coaches from HWH one UR coach is reduced by SER that's weird decision. But the main point is one SLR is detached at GTL so 17-1=16 coaches then 4 KCG Slip coaches added so maximum is 20 coaches.
Speed I agree with you it's definitely required. Both trains are too slow. Frequency increase is impossible unless RM or some political influences as SWR runs freights in empty slots of weeklies.
