CR GM Mr. Kul Bhushan in his Independence Day speech
"Kul Bhushan, who is also the general manager of Central Railways, said that 16 more trains which were announced in the 2011 Budget will also be introduced in the coming days.
As regards the suburban section of Central Railway, he said, "Some 75 nine-car trains will be converted into 12-car services by September 2011, making all 785 main line services into 12 cars. DC to AC conversion on Mumbai division, which has advanced up to Kalyan, will be completed by 2010 (LOL)."...
