Definitely agree with you about too many cars. There is way too much 4 wheeler traffic in the IT area and people are buying cars barely 2 years into their career. Nothing's more infuriating than getting stuck in traffic, crossing the car in front of you after 20 minutes and then seeing that there's just one person sitting comfortably in the entire car, while our bus has more than 50 people squeezed in.
Pardon me if I keep on harping about one region in the city, I used to stay in the Whitefield area, so that's one area I am decently well informed about. And that's why I keep alluding to the traffic in that region...

What's the need of more buses? Already Bangalore have enough buses which always remain stuck in heavy traffic even normal vehicle gets stucked in heavy traffic .Only metro is is the solution of heavy traffic bcz people will switch towards them for saving there time.
Agree with u.after opening or construction of suburban system the tracks and platforms and priority will be given to long distance trains only like what happens in hyd mmts.even though state shares cost all will be used for long distance trains frieght.and slowly ppl dont use it.in hyd many ppl use bikes cars and rtc buses bcoz of neglience of mmts
