The following incident happened on the last Saturday (13th August) in 12345 Saraighat Express. Dr. Jayanta Chakrabarty (resident of Kolkata) and her wife Mrs. Subrota Chakrabarty took a ride on this train on the day in 1AC from Howrah to go up to NCB . After having dinner, they tried to take a nap. But just after sometime, the lady started to feel itch on her skin. Mr. Chakrabarty asked her to have patience suggesting allergy. But this problem increased with time. So they, switched on the light and became astonished to discover a huge army of bugs on the bed!

Chakrabarty requested the TTE to spray some insecticide when the train reaches MLDT. But the TTE could not do this either. Rather he managed 2 beds for the couple in AC after MLDT. The TTE gave him the contact number of ER officials; though they too were unable to suggest something.
Later the Doctor posted a complaint in the complaint book which was given by the TTE (572454/14/08).
