GREEN FLAG- as Bastar Region is one of the most backward and naxal affected area which give a huge freight revenue to IR. Weekly connectivity from this region to national capital and state capital is most welcome.

It may be interesting to know that, after completion of DalliRajhara-Jagdalpur New line project, being implemented with financial participation from SAIL & NMDC, Delhi-NGP-Durg-JDB should be only 1700kms instead of 2010 kms at present and journey time should be just 29hrs instead of over 35.5 hrs!!. But it will take atleast 6-7 years to complete....
