Mostly blue ICF coaches are self generating ones but I have seen non self-generating blue coloured ICF coaches in some south Garib Rath express too. So the moral of the story is blue coloured ICF coaches are mostly self generating but their are some exceptions to that. BTW here these coaches are self generating ones so they don't an EOG or Generator Car.

There are ICF coaches in blue livery which uses EOG. Eg for same is MAS-TVC Super AC express and MAS-MDU Duranto. Both are now running with ICF blue liveried coach with EOG. They are not self generating.

So conclusion is Colour is independent of self generation

Keh sakte ho, mai JHS me tha ki dekha ki Garib rath me ek blue coloured coach attached hai. Pehle mujhe bhi laga ki ye self generating hota but coach k pass gaya to dekha ki it was 130 certificate tab ye pata chala ki jarori nahi ki har blue icf coach self generating hi ho, kuch exceptions bhi ho sakte.
