Day time Duronto - the first one of the country being on Amritsar Chandigarh route - should have stops at important places. In this case Jalandhar and Ludhiana. Otherwise the train will not succeed as 1400 people may not travel daily.
Instead of naming it as Duronto the train should have been run as a normal Super Fast train with stops at Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Beas. This would have got good load from day one itself.

There was no need to run a duronto on this route. They should better convert it into a shatabdi or jan shatabdi express or intercity express.
Kindly recheck, if its the first of its kind-Day Time DRNTO!!

It Sud be a Jan-duronto...with few stopages at least Jal and Ldh.
