KR Puram Railway station Platform ticket collection is a big LOOT operation. There's no proper counter to buy the ticket. Trains stop only for one minute. Officials collect Rs280/- as penalty for not producing a Platform ticket. There's a small board with fine print which says 250/-. They will issue a Excess Fare Ticket and collect 280/- instead of 250/-. STOP THIS MENACE OF LOOTING FORCEFULLY COLLECTING PENALTY LIKE THIS. WE'RE HONEST CITIZENS.
There's only one counter for all types of tickets. But suddenly 4 people emerge to collect fines on the middle of the platform. If you have that grit to collect, why not show the same attitude to come out and sell platform tickets.

Mr Station Manager ,I urge you to try buying a train ticket, platform ticket and board your family on a train , which stops for one minute on 2-3 platform. See how many people are being fleeced. This is not right. Some day you'll face serious consequences of this nonsense management.
It's very difficult to buy a platform ticket at KR Puram Railway Station especially during rush hour. There are no facilities. No water. No Food stall. No Trolleys. What are we paying for? Remember, you have to serve not steal. I'm very disappointed with this station management. Put up proper notice board, not a small fine print board Sir.
