* During the last 2 decades most of the states other than Bihar & WB were badly neglected including Maharashtra. UP got justice in last 2 years and Maha too is getting the same now.
* Most of the trains for Maha had been introduced only recently, the 3 year avg of new trains allotted for Maha in the NDA govt is not high as reported in the channel. Prabhu has in fact done least pampering for his state when compared to other RMs.

country each with population over 2 Crores and deserve much large number of trains than other cities. Delhi got its due but Mumbai did not.
* Report is a cooked up and far from facts. Intelligently clubbing Maha & UP, the reporter has tried to defame the RM.
*2014-15--- 45 out of 111 trains i.e. about 40% of trains given to UP,Maha. 111 trains have 222 end destinations. These two states have about 26% of India's population and so deserve 26% of 222 i.e. 58 end destinations. Since many destinations of the 45 trains is not UP or Maha, the 45 trains are not in excess as reported.
* 2015-16---25 out of 66 trains given to 2 states, Similarly UP+Maha deserve (66x2x.26) i.e. 34 end destinations and many other end destinations of 25 trains should be other than UP & Maha, so the trains are again not in excess as reported.
* If media just count the number of states and cannot see the difference between a huge state with 20 crores population and smaller states with much less population (below 1 crore), it is either their lack of knowledge/ wisdom/ professionalism or their vested interest.
