Not flights, I feel buses have been the real gamechanger...
With the advent of Swedish world domineers like Volvo and Scannia, bus journeys are no longer the punishment that they used to be rather are a joyous experience...

Yes, as per DGCA's April data approx. 10,000 passengers flew between Ranchi and Patna .. That makes it about 333 flyers daily.

Interesting!
You sure they are A320s?
Airbus A320s were designed to ferry around 250 over a reasonablly long distance like a transatlantic flight...
They were amongst the first planes to completely 'fly by wire' and are amongst the most common airplanes used in international air travel...
They
...
are direct compedition to to Boeing 737 classes...and I really wonder why would any Airline use them for short cruises like Ranchi-Kolkata!

Yes, I am 1000% confident, check the Airline websites for details. Indigo only flies A320s, so are Air Asia and Go Air. Alliance Air uses ATR72 as I have indicated. No A320 in the world has more than 180 seats and that too in all Economy configuration. A321 that is used on Delhi Ranchi route by Air India may have upto 250 seats and may be you are confusing with that.
The Ranchi - Kolkata flights are onwards flights. Air Asia flies from CCU - IXR - DEL and return. Indigo on IXR - CCU - BLR Segments. Only AI flies only between CCU and IXR without any onwards connection.
