I wanted to book a tatkal ticket from jharsuguda to ahmedabad but it is never avaliable.
So i tried booking from howrah to ahmedabad and boarding at jharsuguda but could not book as it says the booking date is out of range as the train reaches jharsuguda on the third day but tatkal is allowed for two days.
how can the people of jharsuguda avail tatkal facility????????????????

in some trains you can change boarding point to next day also, there is no fixed logic about it, only experience is the thing that will let you know these type of things, Mr Hetul will tell you this thing.

The answer is simple. Please try tomorrow. The relevant rule says" two days from date of journey" Hence for 6th your booking from Jharsuguda will start on 4th not 3rd.. Note that if your train had been BEFORE 8.00 ON 6th you could have booked tatkal earlier!!!!! Hence the difficulty..

Yes Manish ji you can change boarding in 2833 as Surat while you booking. You can not book your ticket from ST coz it comes on next day. (If tickets available in CK then you can book).

For journey from Jharsuguda on 6th, tatkal starts from 4th. But one will get only in WL because Jharsuguda and Howrah have same tatkal quota and booking from Howrah will start on 3rd for same train. So first blogger has to book from Howrah and then change boarding to Jharsuguda from PRS.
