The milch cow for the division 'BKSC' will never see the days of 'work completed on time'. Every project initiated here has crossed the deadline twice the time provided. The work for escalator and lift started in 2015 which is way before than few stations but it is still not functional . There is no sign of progress these days and everything has been left in between whereas those station which started the work and were provided fund later are enjoying escalator facility. It is 2017 , I believe 2 years is enough time to complete at least one escalator out of two, correct me if I am wrong about this. Seeing the condition, the escalators are expected to be functional by end on 2018 and lifts to be functional in 2019. and fund was sanctioned but the division was sleeping by ingesting the money secretly. This is making the station look really bad and dark in night with no proper lights. I filed a grievance on pgportal regarding this by citing the tender number and as a result the division responded by sending a letter of quick action in progress. As a result, the front structure was demolished along with lights making the building look dilapidated and dark. That is all, that the progress they made after my complain and everything is back to the usual scene. The problem is that there is no strict monitoring done for the works being done because those officials sit in ADRA and there is no one to monitor the work locally. This amount of delay is not justified and expected for the station which is giving you the largest share in total revenue generated. No new trains, no long distance connectivity, no local connectivity, no on time completion of works, no new platform since the inception of station and PRR, BQA getting new platforms. I expect the division to pay more attention to BKSC because we don't ask for alms, we ask for what we deserve.
