Now a days IR is converting all the passenger trains into EMU/ MENU/ DEMU rakes. Though this is not a new initiative, IR used to already convert short-journey passengers, but they were mainly confined into short-journey trains. But recently long-journey passengers are being converted too. Ex: 63141/63142 (226 km), 63553/63554 (479km), Couple of SDAH-LGL Passengers (227 km), BWN- HTE Passenger (350 Km) etc.
Do you support this initiative of replacing conventional Passenger rakes with EMU/MENU/DEMU rakes as taken by IR?

MEMU with toilets should welcome for long-distance passenger trains instead of locomotive run coaches. MEMU is always cost-effective and IR should introduce more MEMUs in long-distance passenger trains.
