(Note: This below post should reach the higher authorities hence writing in this blog, if anyone of you people knows their mail id or contact please convey this message.)
This request is on behalf of lakhs of people who are travelling between Coimbatore and Bengaluru. We couldn't afford so much money for bus and travel to Bangalore. There is no dedicated train from Coimbatore - Bengaluru till date.

everyone are aware that omni buses are charging too much during weekends & festivals in the route of Bengaluru City & Coimbatore. One way Journey Fare itself may go up-to Rs.2500 (Equals to Flight's Cost).
We request you to provide us a Night Train Service between these two major cities (Bengaluru - Coimbatore Main Jn).
We need a Dedicated Night Train services from Bengaluru to Coimbatore, there will be 100% profit for Indian Railways too of this happens. Many people are really suffering because of lack of train & unable to pay too much fare for omni buses mainly during weekends.
We are requesting you to implement a Night Train Service between the Route of KSR BENGALURU CITY & COIMBATORE MAIN JN, with comfortable timings (ON or After 22:00 IST) , So that public will not suffer a lot and from this Indian Railways will also get a good profit out of it.
We don't know what happened to the 22665/22666 Coimbatore - KSR Bengaluru Uday Express, which was proposed on last Railway Budget, still it is in Pending (We will be happy if you inaugurate this express at the earliest) !!
PLEASE PROVIDE THIS UDAY EXPRESS TRAIN IN MONDAY MORNINGS ALSO, Instead it can be halted on Wednesday. Many people will get benefited out of it.
You can visit the websites like, (www.redbus.co.in / www.abhibus.co.in etc) and search Omni Bus Fares from Bengaluru to Coimbatore (During Weekends Mainly) then surely you will understand the pain of common people, really we are suffering a lot. Do help us with inauguration of a New Daily Night Train from Bangalore City and Coimbatore.
Also, During Thursdays from Bengaluru, we have many trains towards Coimbatore. That can also be rescheduled to Friday nights instead of Thursday.
Example:
(12257 Kochuveli Garib Rath Exp - Can be rescheduled to run from YPR on Fri, Sun, Tue
&
12257 Yesvantpur Garib Rath Express - Can be rescheduled to run from KCVL on Thu, Sat, Wed)
(16561 Kochuveli AC Express - Can be rescheduled to Friday
&
16562 Yesvantpur AC Exp - Can be rescheduled to Saturday)
(12684 Ernakulam SF Express - Can be rescheduled and depart from SBC on Fridays after 09:00PM
&
12683 Bangalore SF Exp - Can be rescheduled & depart from ERS on Thursdays)
(06547/06548 SPECIAL EXPRESS Train can also be made Permanent 'DAILY' in the same route as it is proceeding currently)
The Above MENTIONED CHANGES Will GENERATE A HUGE REVENUE to INDIAN RAILWAYS & Helps Public Too..!!
Also this is the only solution to stop these Omni bus people's atrocities during weekends & Festival periods.
If you are feeling, already COIMBATORE MAIN JUNCTION and KSR BENGALURU / YESVANTPUR Main Stations, are overloaded with existing trains,
Trains can be implemented between,
BENGALURU CANT. (BNC) to COIMBATORE NORTH (CBF)
or
KRISHNARAJAPURAM Jn (KJM) to COIMBATORE NORTH (CBF)
or
KRISHNARAJAPURAM Jn (CBF) to COIMBATORE PODANUR JN.(PTJ)
Please help us to commute between these two major cities with a nominal fare by implementing a dedicated night train service. Please look into this as a high priority.
Hoping for a Favourable & Quick action from you on behalf of all the people who are frequently travelling in this Route.

You have only spoken of private buses. What about Govt. buses. that thousands use everyday? Express buses of both TNSTC and KSRTC are really good. Costs below Rs. 400 - depending on Sathy route (via Kollegal or Mysuru) or Salem route.

Agreed..!!
But Trains are way cheaper than govt. buses, Rs.235 Sleeper class, also without facing any traffic unlike buses train reaches on time to the destination.
Very few KSRTC buses are there in COIMBATORE route, where as if you compare Chennai, there are so many KSRTC/TNSTC buses available.
To stop the Omni Buses atrocities, Indian Railways must take necessary action towards it by introducing...
