Current status of my ticket is RS12 55.Can I get confirm seat while time of departure?
Not only by departure but also up to the time of your first checking of ticket by designated TTE, you will remain in RAC only. On checking, whether immediately or any time later, if the TTE finds room, he will confirm you.
Your ticket is currently in RAC and you have to share your seat with another passenger. If other passenger does not turn up, you can have the whole berth for yourself.
if your co-passenger will remain absent then you will get seat , luckily it has happened with me in punjab mail where my co-passenger was absent or remain in touch with tte during the journey.
