Do overnight direct buses ply b/w kanyakumari and rameswaram? How much time does it take to reach rameswaram from kanyakumari by bus?

The thing is that on the day i want to travel, that tri weekly sf does not run otherwise that was best. Now i hav two options - direct bus from kanyakumari to nagercoil. OR take thirukkural exp/ ncj-cbe exp to madurai and from there an early morning bus to reach rameswaram by 7-8 am.
