Is it possible to add a conventional rake to an existing train which runs on LHB rakes ? Are there safety implications?
Can additional ICF gen coaches be added to trains which already have LHB coaches . Quite a few trains which have been converted to LHB are now seeing a shortage of Gen coaches

Yes it is possible as if one LHB coach can be attached to an ICF rake then why 1icf coach can't be attached to LHB rake.But it will have to be attached after EOG car and then guard will have to just hang a LV board.
If ICF has CBC couplers definitely it is possible to add LHB coaches with it. If it is having Chainlink couplers unable to add LHB coaches.
