Trip update:
Train name: 12381 Poorva (Deluxe) sf exp
DOJ: 16.07.17
After 6 days of holiday (for me these are days of rehab) in my hometown Howrah, I was to return back to my daily routine. Back to New Delhi for my work. Wid my rest back on Monday (as coming on Tuesday n joining work d same day is cumbersome for a lazy

person lyk me), I already booked d ticket in Legendary Deluxe exp (via Gaya) 4 months in advance as I did not also want to get hassled in mainline madness. To my surprise, I got UB. Wid bags packed on Saturday night, I was just wondeding d whole day wat d loco link wud be as on Saturday, 12303 was hauled by ABB P5#30006. So d chance for my trn to get hauled by P5 was zero. I was thinking of getting P4 😑😑. I kept aside all those speculations n slept well as I had my trn early morning. D next day, I departed frm home at 06:45 n reached HWH at 07:10 hrs. Bought 2 pf tickets for my father n brother (who came to see me off) from ATVM counter n proceeded for pf#8. The wifi (sponsored by Railwire n Google) was working well. Then there was an announcement of my trn coming on the pf. WDS-6#36078 shunted d trn to pf. Bt still der was suspicion on wat d loco link of my trn wud be. My coach was S6 n I even went ahead till EOG to see wat d loco wud be bt till den, der was no sign of any loco. After 5-7 mins or so, I saw a white loco coming close 2 d EOG. At least I was completely assured dat it was d white beast, d P7 frm HWH. N d type of honk it gave before being coupled just filled my heart wid joy. WAP-7#30505 of GZB shed was in ELS bt it wasn't dat as d honks of new locos aren't dat fascinating. I was sure dat it was a 302** or 303** series loco. Bt still der were speculations on d road no. I also wasn't able to go see d loco as I had my family wid me (PS: they don't knw abt me being a railfan 😁😁)
At 08:15 hrs dot, d home signal turned Yellow n d trn departed after 2 honks (customary). Rest of my story in next column.... 😊😊
