Those who argue about Metro Railway Kolkata! Yes they are broad gauge! They run on DC power but it has a connecting line from Belgharia 4th line which connects the NOAPARA Carshed with main line! They are brought out of the metro shed using shunters! So check out! Metro rans on 750V DC and IR uses 25KV AC which can never be used!
