What do you think, how can Indian Railways make the trains run faster ??? (Considering the condition of the tracks to be efficient).

India is the country with highest Engineers coming out every year but irony not many field has RD to absorb those skilled persons. We importing technologies from others of which few dont even have population of major states in India..
Yes, this is the main problem for old-school technology of Indian Railways.
one more thing is like ISRO or DRDO or BHEL or CSIR . RDSO not came to universities and use students potential for research. I think now NIOT NIWE opening things for research students like wise RDSO and IR should encourage researchers to conduct research on railway improvements especially in signalling, track upgradation, Rake designs.
Politicians have a full control over Indian Railways, that is why it is unable to prosper.
