SBC-Nanded exp and YPR-Bidar exp could have got it till VKB too.
18519 had got ac traction btwn BZA WADI as bza vskp is single diesel line (branch line)
YPR Bidar express cannot get e loco from VKB/GTL as this train passes through GTL DMM via kalluru which is a non electrified line . Now coming to SBC Nanded express Ur point is right. But I don't think there are better facilities for LSA at VKB to provide e loco's minus this train passes through Wadi B cabin ,so if at all this train is to be given AC traction ,it can be done at GTL.
Bidar exp is a daily train, so diverting it via GY and running with E-loco could have been done till VKB. I think VKB can handle loco change, as Freight's used to get loco change at VKB when VKB-Wadi wasn't electrified, with e-loco going back to Sanathnagar Electric Trip Shed.
Already traffic is more on GTL DMM via GY line that train's like YPR SC garibrath , YPR DEE Duronto ,YPR Solapur SF express and MAS - SNSI SF express can't be diverted to run via GY.with great difficulty Indian railways have worked out for rajdhani to find a suitable and convenient time to run on GY line just bcoz to run with e loco end to end.So probably it's just a matter of time for GTL Kalluru line get doubled and electrified .I think by the end of 2018 all this doubling work would be finished and electrification can expect by 2019 to be completed.And then u can expect the above train's to run on AC traction.
