I don't think about gauge conversion of this section. I wish this section will extend upto Saputara(One and only hill station of Gujarat), about 53 kms away from Waghai town. This section has been already completed 100 years in year 2014. I wish this section shall be announced as Heritage railway section. Also some improvements and track maintenance required for faster speed on this section. Because as compared on other Narrow gauge section of Indian railways, speed of this section is very slow. I had traveled on Jabalpur-Nainpur-Balaghat-Chhindwara-Nagpur NG section and maximum speed on this section was 60 kmph for NG trains and if this section's maximum speed is increased to 55/60 kmph from current 25/30 kmph, it will surely get good patronage. Currently trains tooks around 180 to 200 mins for 63 kms, but it required minimum 100 to 120 mins if speed will be increased.
