Accidents happened during the tenure of all the RMs and all have moral responsibility. All of them have faced the public ire & media fury in the event of every accident, and current RM is no exception. A few RMs have resigned on the ground of moral responsibility of train accident in past, but it have not helped IR to eliminate accidents.
IR have typical govt. style of functioning, none of the past RMs could bring any significant change including the present RM. Past RMs did not try to change it, current RM have atleast tried to change it. IR bureaucracy & unions are very powerful and taming and putting them in the right path is very tough task for...
