Today I book ticket at trichy under tatkal for 15/3/10 in T.N. Samparkranti to H. Nizamuddin. When I asked for boardinding point at tiruchirappalli JN the booking clerk refused by saying as it is not possible since the train reach Trichy Jn at 2.45AM on 16/3/10. If I want so, I have to come for this on next day i.e., on 14/03/10 which is two days for booking under tatkal scheme. Now I have to travel all the way to Madurai with all my luggages and board train at Madurai JN. will any answer who has taken this foolish decision?
Booking clerk gave you wrong information.
You should first book the ticket and the must goto the Chief Reservation Supervisor to get change the boarding point.
Due to new rules there are some restrictions in boarding change at the time of booking.
