Serious injustice is done to this train in Konkan route in the last timetable revision.In the latest revision,Southern Railway reduced the running time by one hour,making this train to reach manglore junction at 2320 hrs instead of 0020 hrs earlier.However this reduction in time was not further utilized in Konkan route,instead they forced this train to run either like a bullock cart between Manglore and Surathkal,covering 22Km in 58 min or making it to halt at Surathkal for more than 35 min, wasting precious time of hundreds of passengers.Even Mangalore -Verna passenger train is covering this distance in 25 min.
