From Oct 1 onwards one has to provide the ID proof along with the PNR while keeping luggage in clockroom... Saw this in local newspaper Kerala Kaumadi.

Sir,i have ticket of gitanjali from hwh to cstm DOJ 28 SEPT.2011 3AC FROM RAC 3 TO W/L 1 WHETHER IT WILL BE CONFIRM OR NOT ?
