Couldn't make out much due to the darkness and a freight blocking the view at Bihar. I missed the start of the Khanapur pit line, so I don't know if there is a coach care centre, but the pit line itself seems to be ready.

Reached Bidar about 20 min late. We were running bang on time till SC but the water pipe under our coach got hit by some ballast before WL and we halted for 50 min in SC for the repairs. Been blasting in the rain since then. :)
Any particular reason as to why Khanapur was chosen as the bifurcation point and for the pit lines ? The pit line is a good 15 km away from Bidar now because of this, and the bifurcation point, about 18 km away.
No idea sir. Must be due to space constraints at Bidar. So must have built where space was available, like near the bifurcation station.
