One big doubt for me:
why did ECoR develop DUVVADA instead of SIMHACHALAM??
i see following advatages with simhachalam
1.they have more land at simhachalam than duvvada
2.simhachalam station is surrounded by colonies unike duvvada
...
which is 4km from mainroad in jungle like area .
3.it has good roads and duvvada has narrow roads .
4.it has good transport facilities from most of the city(temple buses) whereas duvvada doesnt.
5.can get more pilgrims to simhachalam and help simhachalam pilgrims to travel easily.(these are more moving than steel plant employees)
6.duvvada also has another inconvinience that its first platform is not exposed to public. they have to take FOB EVEN to park their vehicle.track crossing is dangerous.
I just want to know what edge does DUVVADA has over SIMHACHALAM rly station.
Perhaps if the diverted trains are halted at SIMHACHALAM, even the diversion issue of VSKP could not have arisen. they could have accepted simhachalam as other station of VSKP.simahachalam has space to develop even upto 10pfs( i am just aying scope, not todays demand.)
please throw some light on this...

It's what you Bet Bhanu garu, I only gave the reason for developing DVD.
Till 2006 or till date, nobody had considered this.
Due to the treacherous acts only, we are looking for alternatives.
Still SML is much better than DVD be it be any reason considered.

if you think from ECoR point of view, taking to VSKP is more time taking and needs efforts such as platform clearence, engine reversal.hence they are hesitant. but developing SCM is similar to DVD. they may consider the issue as they dont need to put much efforts. presently existing pfs can itself be used for diverted trains and can later be developed.
i am from BZA, grown up in HYB and VSKP.
