So here is a proposed tri-weekly railway service between Jammu Tawi and Kannyakumari. The route is unique, away from the usually congested railway sections of IR. Total journey time is 77 hours 45 minutes and average speed is 53 kmph.

Off beat route. Might not benefit end to end passengers, but definitely would help the enroute pax in different sections.
