why resline, blue line and yellow lines are broad guage while green violet and airport express standard guage

When they started the MEtro, standard gauge for metro was recommended by DMRC, but it was not accepted by the Minister. they did not want to develop a separate gauge and were in favour of unigauge. So they proceeded with Broad guage.
When the next phase were developed, Standard gauge was recommended and accepted. This time the opposition to Standard Gauge was less.
