Pranav Chiplunkar~ 104 blog postsReally an excellent train this. It has been criticised for its high fare, but it is totally worth the amount paid. The food right from the breakfast is really good. They try to serve regional products such as kokam juice and it is really tasty. The train is very clean including the toilets, and with features like automatic soap dispenser, you just feel that you’re having a very different experience. This train is given the highest priority across the KR, and more often than not reached KRMI before time.

No,Unfortunately it still goes practically empty in non-peak/non-festiv seasons. I was in C2 and there were not even 10 other people
My worry is they may start thinking of shifting it to some other route
I reckon if it gets extended to MAO with Double Decker instead being switch back to KRMI, both may get benefited.
That would be most unfortunate, as I personally think this a fabulous train, it is just that people need to use it more.
