No brother, even after construction of Sakleashpura-Chikkamagaluru line the problem wont go away. The bottleneck is Subramanya Road-Sakleshpura section, so nothing would change. This route will be useful mostly for freight like how Hassan-Chikkabanavara line is being used at present.
The bottle neck here is sakleshpur to subhramanya section. I dont think Chikmaglur line can solve that problem. A daily train from bjp/bgm should run via dvg, ask , has to maq
I am not from Karnataka so I am not really aware of the issues there
But what I do know about the SKLR SBHR section is that there is some agreement the Railways has signed regarding movement of freight, which restricts the no. of passenger trains in that line. However I do feel that the KAWR SBC Intercity should become daily now and another train should be introduced from Mangaluru to BGM/SUR
