This train passes through Tamil Nadu and Karnataka only, but this train should be extended towards Mumbai.
Already three trains are there to Mumbai from Chennai, going via Hubli is not a feasible option as it will take more time to complete its journey. Presently MAS-CSTM trains take 24 hours and via Hubli means it may take more than 30 hours.
