any possibility to route it via newly broad gauge converted route -> Pollachi, Palakkad town?
also reduce speed between SA and ED and add slack between Aluva and ERS?
In my IMG Train list, I have several trains routed via DG-POY. Also, this has to serve PDY-CBE connection and ERS. So this would be the shortest route. For a bi-weekly service I would suggest DG-POY, but for daily service, SA-CBE-PGT would yield more patronage and is shorter. Also, uses the underutilized VRI-SA line.
