Railways had announced speeding up of trains and reducing running time. I think they need to look at examples like this where a 75 km takes 2 hours to cover despite a clear path. SR/TVC division never seem to attach any importance to speed.

RC to Wadi is the zonal handover which might be the reason for that extra slack ...you can see that at all major handover points where there will be a zone switch.. the same kin dof TT you can see near BPQ for most o the trains...CD-BPQ 10km stretch gets 1-2 hours of slack
SKZR-BPQ and CD-BPQ....SKZR-BPQ based on the distance of 70km is not much ...but CD_BPQ being just 10km apart gets very huge slack including trains like 12724 ...10km in 57min... _/\_
well time to think from passenger standpoint... The train continue to follow same TT as that when the entire DD to RU was a single line...
