How was the occupancy of the Antyoday Exp? Last month, I saw it at CNB; it was completely empty. Also, the two stations of Lucknow Metro on LJN line[Durgapuri] and LKO are built too closely.

I had even say that Lucknow Metro stations are built too close to one another. Compare it to Delhi Metro where stations are at a more feasible distance. I took a ride in the Metro last month. The cleanliness was upto the mark, occupancy low[though that is true for the Chennai Metro as well], services okayish[lower than the Delhi Metro, IMO]. Eitherways, the construction was completed quite fast, which is great. Also, how long is it expected to take for the line to expand beyond its current measure[ie. towards Airport on one side and Hazratganj towards other]?

Occupancy will be low for some time...given the fact that one side it still hasn't reached the airport and the other side it's still not inside the city as well (that is beyond Railway station) so once it reaches inside the city which it well in some time as the construction is going on well ahead of schedule it will flourish hard..
Also secnd reason for less occupancy is the fact that the city buses are still plying on that route...which will soon be taken off and paxes will increase......

Also Durgapuri station was built keeping in mind the suitation ahead 5-10 years...cuz once the amount of paxes increase Lko metro did not wanted Charbagh to turn something like Rajiv chowk so they built that Durgapuri metro station just for that very thing..saying they have wanted paxes to have connectivty to the society which is just beside the railway station...they didn't wntd the person who needs to go further ahead of Charbagh also to step down here and increase congestion more...
