For a RailFan, watching MPS skips are far more interesting than watching F1 race - Prince Maan

16344 MDU to TVC reaches palani at 5.55pm and Pollachi at 7.55pm. The train is being alloted a full two hours for a mere 62km that too at a stretch without trains at all. I booked the train from pollachi and found it waiting at POY station at 7pm. Can anyone help me with why so much time is given instead of starting late from MDU? Or is it PGT division's yet another hideous attempt to cancel the extension on grounds of poor patronage?
