i have tatakal ticket for 26 oct. but i loss my ticket. and i have only pnr no. so, give me information, can i take duplicate ticket from the station or not plz help me, if yes, then tell me it's process

same thing happened with my friend on 20.10.2011. Read below
Today i recd a call from my friend that he has forgot to take the PRS ticket (6 pax) which he booked from barnala PRS counter in tatkal quota sleeper class by paying 3435. booking date 18.10.2011 date of travel 20.10.2011 i.e. today. Train dep was 9.55 am jat durg exp/12550 from LDH to Raipur Jn. I advised him to go to station master of ludhiana. He was told by SM that he has to write a letter to get duplicate tkt and pay 50% of fare i e. 1720.00. Which he paid and wrote letter and got duplicate ticket and boarded the train to complete the journey.

means after chart pre.. i will have to pay 50% of total fare.. right but if i will take duplicate ticket before chart pre. i think , i have to pay only clerk charge only right???????/
