Like in santragachi gachi stands for town or , hemlet in bangla .we can not convert santragachi to santrapur in hindi just bcoz this word s familiar to hindi belt

In hindi kund stands for pond. Hirakund dam name is used as well as Hirakud thats why both the names are provided here but you are trying to remove them.
We cannot ignore hindi as well as odiya/any regional language.
We respect your regional languages then why you have problem on our regional languages. Hindi is also a regional language in many states and south indian should also respect this language because all hindi speakers also respect south indian language.
