This reminds me of /blog/post/2366506 . And also, the dep time was changed long before DD was introduced. Earlier, it used to be 7:15 dep. It had 7:45 arr at MAS. I remember those days when I used to take 40 Brinda to reach MAS by 8.
I think that was the time CBE shtb started, so brinda got change of time
While returning it used to stop, unofficially, in between BWT - JTJ to enable nearby villagers to sell their products.
