In reference to /pnr/post/225000, here goes another strange case of Auto Upgradation. The train in question is the same train, i.e. 12863 Howrah Yeshvantpur Express.

I have seen lots of such cases of Auto Upgrades specially in this train between HWH - VSKP as there is some Quotas from VSKP till SBc and some times or rather there are some empty seats uptil VSKp and there are chances that people booking till VSKp have an outside cjance for an Upgradation.
The question is not why AU took place in this train. The point to be noticed is the AU against the same PNR in 2 different classes!! (For both the cases)
Double promotion.!. from SL to 2nd A/c... really lucky passengers... Traveling / Traveled in 3rd and 2nd A/c @ d cost of SL
